An honest Thai couple found a bag with a hundred,000 baht inside in entrance of a shopping center within the central province of Ratchaburi and notified the police to enable them to search for its owner.
Eighteen year outdated Kittisak “Zen” Thaweechokhirun, and his 18 year outdated girlfriend, Potchathawat “Mali” Sabumuang, final night reported the cash-filled bag they discovered at a shopping mall to officers at Meaung Ratchaburi Police Station.
Mali advised police that they arrived at the shopping center at 2.30pm to look at a film. After Premiere , they went to the buying mall’s meals court and noticed the bag on a chair.
Mali notified a shopping mall employees member who opened the bag and discovered the big sum of cash inside. The mall made an announcement asking for the owner of the bag to come forward, however nobody claimed it.
The couple waited on the shopping mall till 5.30pm within the hope that the owner would come back for the bag, but no person did. So, they reported it to the police. Officers then rushed to the mall to pick up the bag.
Mali revealed the rationale why she did not take the cash. She said…
“That money isn’t mine. Its owner have to be in trouble now. Marked down and mom all the time taught me not to take things that do not belong to me. I hope others will do the identical.”
Officers confirmed that the bag contained a hundred,000 baht and acknowledged that they might hold the bag in safekeeping till its rightful owner was identified.
Another related heartwarming story was reported three days in the past. A motorbike taxi rider, Akkadate “Toey” Jittayasothorn, in Nonthaburi province near Bangkok, found cash worth one hundred,000 baht on the street and returned it to the owner. “I am not wealthy however I wouldn’t have a tough life. She may need withdrawn the money from the bank for some essential matter. If she misplaced it, she might have been in trouble.”
