PG Flow Solutions has secured a contract to ship pumps to a different two wellboats that the Norwegian shipbuilder Aas Mekaniske Verksted is constructing for Sølvtrans.

PG Flow Solutions will provide eight giant seawater circulation pumps for each of the two wellboats. The Norwegian company may even supply numerous engine room pumps which are required for the primary engine and support engines, in addition to different general-purpose pumps as required for operating the wellboats.
The two wellboats are Aas Mekaniske Verksted newbuilds 213 and 214.

“The wellboats have been designed with fish welfare in mind. Our seawater circulation pumps have been developed with an identical philosophy. The merging of our technologies due to this fact is sensible operationally, financially and from an animal health perspective.”
The pump techniques shall be assembled at PG Flow Solutions’ major manufacturing facility at Sande in Vestfold, Norway, and delivered to Aas Mekaniske Verksted’s yard in Vestnes, Norway.
