Sulzer launches world’s biggest medium-consistency pump

เกจวัดแรงกด has announced the launch of the world’s largest medium-consistency pump, the MCE93-400, which has been inbuilt response to buyer demand for greater production charges in pulp mills.
The pumping of liquids with a high dry solids content – medium consistency – is crucial for processes within the pulp and paper trade.
In latest years, manufacturing rates have spiralled. As a outcome, Sulzer developed the MCE93-400 for a buyer project with record-breaking values.
The capacity of the pump reaches up to 10,000 air dry metric tonnes per day with the flow up to 940 l/s and the head up to a hundred and eighty m. The MCE pump is designed for a strain score of 25 bar.
Jussi Heinonen, product manager for MC equipment at Sulzer, mentioned: “The new MCE93-400 has been designed to function efficiently, saving power, water and chemical costs in pulp and paper mill processes. The revolutionary design options of the pump minimise its life cycle prices.”

The first massive MCE pumps have been dispatched to a significant pulp producer in South America.
