Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire National Vacuum Equipment Inc, a US manufacturer of industrial vacuum pumps and packages for mobile use on tanker vans.
Headquartered in Traverse City, Michigan, National Vacuum Equipment employs around one hundred individuals.
“The acquisition will add to our vacuum solutions portfolio, allowing us to enter the at present untapped mobile vacuum market,’’ stated Geert Follens, Atlas Copco‘s Business Area President Vacuum Technique.
