A search celebration has been launched after a French lady went lacking within the jungle on Koh Adang island in Satun province in southern Thailand yesterday, stories the Phuket Express.
The tourist, 29 12 months old Claire Maire Theophane Drapeau, was last noticed veering off the trail into the jungle close to a viewpoint on the island someday yesterday. Satun Police had been notified through a 191 emergency call.
Police in Satun say that Drapeau was staying at a resort on the nearby Koh Lipe island and travelled to Koh Adang alone. The search was referred to as off when it received dark yesterday and resumed early this morning.
The island, being a half of Tarutao National Park, just isn’t developed for vacationers like its neighbour Koh Lipe. Its mountainous inside is covered in dense jungle. There are two waterfalls on the 30 square kilometre island – the second largest in the nationwide park.

“Adang Island. with a steep and rugged landscape nearly utterly covered by tropical rainforest, maybe probably the most wild and appealing of the islands.”
Earlier this week, a seventy three 12 months old Frenchman received lost within the forest around Khao Eto in Prachin Buri province in central Thailand after straying from the path.
After spending nearly First in the jungle, the Frenchman found his method down the mountain and stumbled into a bamboo plantation in Noen Mai Hom village. Locals contacted forest officers and the tourist’s spouse to return and choose him up.
Last week, two Russian vacationers have been rescued after getting lost in the jungle in Phuket. In February, French vacationers have been additionally rescued from the jungle in Phuket..
