Hayward Tyler Inc and its sister firm Energy Steel have been awarded multi-million greenback contracts to support the ITER venture in France.

Hayward Tyler’s contract covers variable drive booster pumps whereas Energy Steel will provide 62 solenoid valve and cubicle packages.
The ITER venture is a joint international research and growth challenge to show the scientific and technical feasibility of fusion energy. The demonstration facility is beneath construction in St-Paul-lez-Durance in France, and will be the largest fusion experimental reactor on the earth.
Hayward Tyler’s booster pumps might be an integral a part of the drying system for the Tokamak Cooling Water System (TCWS). The pumps shall be designed, built and tested at Hayward Tyler Inc in Colchester, Vermont, USA.
Hayward Tyler and Energy Steel are both part of the Engineered Pumps and Motors Division of Avingtrans plc.
