A pall of grief swept throughout Korat city because it mourns the tragic demise of its leading paramedic, identified domestically as “Doctor Toon.” The tragedy left the 38 12 months outdated emergency medical personnel’s life abruptly cut short following a shocking road accident.
Police in Korat City in Nakhon Ratchasima province yesterday obtained a distress name at 12.10am about an accident on a bridge close to a decorated flower market intersection in Kok Krathum district. Upon arrival, a Lambretta scooter was found overturned on the bridge on National Highway 2, Mittraphap Road. A volunteer rescue staff frantically tried to revive the injured man, who was recognized as Dr Bunluea Aongjaem, or Doctor Toon. Toon held the critical function of an emergency paramedic related to Thep Rattana Hospital, Nakhon Ratchasima.
Unfortunately, Instant and subsequent severe wounds led to Doctor Toon’s premature demise.

Dr Toon was using his scooter alone on the bridge, heading again to his residence at Thep Rattana Hospital, when whereas manoeuvring a right curve, lost control, hit the bridge’s edge and was subsequently thrown down to the verge below. “The tail light of the scooter is damaged and there was no harm to the rear mudguard. We have coordinated with the investigation group to verify CCTV footage along the path to get rid of doubts about whether or not it was a solitary incident or there was a collision involved.”
Dr Toon held a pivotal function in the response operations of the EMS, assisting patients and injured personnel at accident spots> He also evaluated EMS requirements of Korat, appearing as the primary teacher and coordinator for CPR & AED inside the group of Saengtham Dharma coaching centre in Suong Noen. He collaborated with the National Institute of Emergency Medicine. Known among rescue volunteers across 32 districts, his loss is a huge blow to the medical fraternity who admired his expertise and vigour.
