An investigation into a web-based gambling network has led to the issuance of arrest warrants for eight law enforcement officials suspected of managing playing websites and profiting from them. The search, which occurred today, spanned over 30 places in six provinces nationwide.
The operation aimed to dismantle the in depth online gambling community connected to Betflixroyal.com and additional on-line playing websites. This operation stemmed from the arrest of three suspects again in July, which subsequently led to the identification of 23 more people involved in the on-line playing operations.
