Rotork assists BAE Systems in naval base actuator upgrades

Rotork has been working with BAE Systems to improve a collection of A-range actuators to IQ3 actuators which function penstocks controlling movement of ships between the ocean and transitional locks and dry docks at Her Majesty’s Naval Base Portsmouth (HMNB Portsmouth).
A collection of A-range actuators had reached the end of their operational life after lengthy service in a difficult surroundings. BAE Systems wished to retain all the benefits of electrical actuators, so IQ3 actuators have been chosen. These needed to be specifically adapted by Rotork to beat problems round confined spaces and difficult entry.
IQ3 actuators and IS gearboxes were mechanically adapted so that each actuator and gearbox could presumably be operated by hand with out coming into the confined space. Rotork designed special hand auto levers and thru drive mechanisms for the actuator and gearbox to get rid of the need for confined area entry.
Actuators throughout the IQ range are watertight, offering ingress safety to IP66/68 at 20 m for 10 days. ราคาเกจวัดแรงดันลม have a complicated twin stacked display with configurable knowledge logger functionality, and an absolute place sensor provides reliability and accuracy.
