Alton Smith has joined Sundyne as regional sales supervisor for North and Latin America, focusing on the chemical and industrial (C&I) markets.

In his new role, Smith will strengthen customer going through initiatives and work with Sundyne’s internal groups to increase throughout the C&I area.
Smith comes to Sundyne with more than 30 years of expertise in promoting extremely engineered gear and repair solutions to the downstream and midstream sectors. He has labored extensively with EPCs, OEMs and finish customers in the renewable power, oil & fuel, petrochemical, chemical and power technology markets.
Prior to Sundyne, Smith served as vp of gross sales for Fluid Sealing International, the place he developed methods to strengthen & develop distributor sales, whereas additionally overseeing coaching and applications help. He previously served as a regional gross sales supervisor for EKATO Systems. Smith started his profession at Flowserve Corp’s Seal Division and has additionally worked with midstream oil & gasoline OEMs at EagleBurgmann and John Crane Inc.
