Tourists have been rescued from a capsized boat headed for Phuket from Koh Lanta yesterday. The boat capsized in the Andaman Sea near Koh Ma.
Marine police and officers from the Hat Nopparat Thara National Park rushed to rescue the three vacationers and 4 crew members after they received a distress call from the Andaman Adventure Company, the operator of the pace boat.
Luckily, the rescuers were able to bring all seven folks to security, Thai PBS reported. The rescuers brought the tourists and crew members to a hospital on Koh Phi Phi for first-aid.
