Evoqua Water Technologies has entered right into a definitive agreement to accumulate Smith Engineering Inc, a US designer, producer and servicer of custom high purity water therapy tools.
Headquartered in Chaska, Minnesota, Smith Engineering supplies water therapy products and services, including filtration, UV, reverse osmosis, and deionization, for the biotech/pharmaceutical, data centre, meals and beverage, healthcare, medical gadget and microelectronics markets. The firm has more than 1,200 clients in North America.
Evoqua says that the acquisition will enhance its portfolio of excessive purity water therapy systems and expand its service footprint in North America.
